Music
The department has undertaken the following major activities:
- It held music and cultural dance competition among armatures in 2016.
- It conducted research on “lefo lefo cultural music and dance in East Gojjam Zone: With particular emphasis on Hulet Ejju Ense Woreda.”
- It provided technical support for armatures and institutions.
- It collected audio and visual evidences on cultural music of the local community during fire wood collection, cloth washing, cattle keeping and grinding of grains.
