Programs
Department of Medical Laboratory Science opened two programs; one undergraduate (BSc) and one postgraduate (MSc) programs. The undergraduate program was opened in 2008 E.C (2016) and three batches (22 students in the first batch and 29 students in the second batch and 48 students in third batch) were graduated till the last July 2021. The department has additionally opened postgraduate program on Medical Microbiology since 2019 and 8 students were enrolled in the program and graduated in July 2021. The second postgraduate program will be opened in soon in Medical Parasitology. This year, the department tried to expand the MSc program in Medical Microbiology to PhD program in collaboration with Armauer Hansen Research Institute (AHARI).
