Accordingly universities called their students for registration to continue the education in the new normal phenomenon.

For the purpose of preventing the spread of corona virus the Ministry of Science and Higher Education prepared a guideline of students’ service delivery as far as the prevention of corona virus is concerned.

Students Service Directorate at DMU therefore gives training for staffs of food and boarding and security as well as small scale enterprise staffs who are currently engaged in delivering service for the university.

Dr. Yiheyis Aregu, Academic Affairs Vice President of DMU, in the opening speech explains “the strength of a certain generation is measured by the progress that comes after coping up certain challenges and this covid-19 prevention guideline is also a solution for controlling the ongoing corona-wise challenges. Therefore, we shall strive for the effectiveness of this guideline” Dr. Yiheyis emphasized.

Mr. Tesfaye Aleka, Students’ Service Directorate of DMU says “the training focuses on how students are going to be served in the cafeterias, how they are to be checked-in and out in the campus gate, and how they are treated in the dormitories.”
