15. Developmental Psychology

• BA/BSc in Psychology, Sociology or related fields and Bachelor Degree from Teacher Training Colleges (with adequate courses in Developmental, Educational or general Psychology).

16. Eerily childhood care & Education

• BA, BSC or BED in early childhood education, pedagogy, maternal and child health psychology, special needs education, sociology, nursing, public health, midwifery, social work or other equivalent studies attested by MoE.

17. Curriculum & Instruction

• Should have a Bachelor’s degree in education from an accredited university. Regardless of their undergraduate background, PGDT and PGDSL graduates can apply to the program.

35. MSc in Maternity and reproductive health nursing

• First degree in nursing, midwifery and related fields

36.   Investment Law and Governance (LLM)

• Candidates must hold an undergraduate degree in law, LLB degree, degree in governance and those from development studies

37. In Hydraulic Engineering

• MSc in Hydraulic water Engendering, Irrigation Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Agricultural Engineering related fields.

38. Computer Engineering

• BSc degree in computer engineering, Electrical and computer engineering, Computer science, Computer science and engineering.

39 Information Technology

• BSc in Information Technology, Computer Science and related fields.

40. Industrial Engineering

Applicants who have a B.Sc. degree in mechanical engineering, manufacturing engineering, production engineering, textile engineering, industrial engineering, industrial design, system engineering, Industrial Chemical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, can get admissions to the MSc program directly. However, applicants who are not from shortlisted backgrounds may get admission to the program after a detailed investigation of their student copy with regard to the basic courses of Industrial Engineering. The eligibility of such applicants will be ruled by the institute/university. In addition, all applicants should meet the admission requirements of the Graduate Studies of DMU

41. Project Planning and Management

Those with BA/BSc in any field of study with minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 2.00 are eligible to apply to join the program.

42. Peace and Conflict Studies

Applicants  to  this  program are  individuals  who  completed  their  first degree,  preferably  in  the field  of  Social  Science  (Peace,  Governance,  Political  Science  and  International  Relations, Development Studies,  Law, Psychology, Anthropology, Social Work, Philosophy, History, Civic, and Ethical Studies, Sociology,  Management, Economics, and Public Administration).  Their 1stdegree CGPA should be a minimum of 2.0 and equivalents. Applicants for this program should also  satisfactorily  pass  an  entrance  exam  to  be  administered  by  the  department.  Moreover, applicants either shall attach institutional support/sponsorship letters with a completed application form or should able to finance their studies.  Finally y, admission  into  this  Program  shall  get  the approval  of  the  Department  Council  (DC)  and  shall  be  implemented  per  the  University’s Academy’s  legislation.

43. Folklore

Applicants to the M.A program in Folklore are B.A degree in folklore and/or in one of the interdisciplinary fields of study in the social sciences or humanities such as Ethiopian Languages and Literature – Amharic, Gǝ’ǝz, Afan Oromo, Tigrigna, Linguistics, Theatre Arts, Journalism, Foreign Languages and Literature, Sociology, Social Anthropology, Linguistics, Music, History, Heritage management, and the like can apply the program.

 44. Agricultural Entomology

Applicants must have Bachelor of Science or Art degree, plant science, horticulture, biology and other related  fields.

45. Rural Development

Applicants must have Bachelor of Science or Art degree from well recognized university or academic institution in the field of agriculture, rural development, development studies, rural development and agricultural extension, agricultural economics, gender and development studies, agri-business, economics, management, cooperative management, sociology, social work, disaster risk , management, natural resource management, agricultural marketing, soil and water , management, watershed management and other related fields.

46. Civics and Ethical Education

Applicants  to  this  program are  individuals  who  completed  their  first degree,  preferably  in  the field  of  Social  Science  (Peace,  Governance,  Political  Science  and  International  Relations, Development Studies,  Law, Psychology, Anthropology, Social Work, Philosophy, History, geography,  Civic, and Ethical Studies, Sociology,  Management,  and Public Administration and othere related fields).  Their 1^st degree CGPA should be a minimum of 2.0 and equivalents.

47. Investment and business law

Admission requirement:-Bachelor of laws (LL.B)\- In order to be considered for admission to the programme, candidates must hold an undergraduate degree in law, LLB degree.
