According to the project coordinator and consulting engineer, Mr. Yechale Melkamu, once the construction is fully completed, it will enable students from the university and the surrounding area to access high-quality education.<\/p>\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"783\" height=\"531\" src=\"https:\/\/www.dmu.edu.et\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-2.jpeg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-5535\" style=\"width:840px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.dmu.edu.et\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-2.jpeg 783w, https:\/\/www.dmu.edu.et\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-2-300x203.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.dmu.edu.et\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/image-2-768x521.jpeg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 783px) 100vw, 783px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Mr. Yechale noted that the university is working to complete the project by March 10, 2026 (Yekatit 30, 2018 E.C.). He highlighted that the construction has currently reached 93.5% completion, with the remaining 6.5% expected to be finalized by the March deadline.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the visit, it was explained that the project comprises 19 total blocks and Buildings organized into 3 distinct zones<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Dr. Sayeh Kassaw, President of Debre Markos University, stated that efforts are underway to launch school operations in the upcoming new academic year.
