The event adopted a hybrid format, with researchers presenting in person at the main campus and others from various domestic universities participating virtually.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Opening Remarks: Research as a Tool for Community Solutions<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The conference was officially inaugurated by <strong>Dr. Sayeh Kassaw<\/strong>, President of Debre Markos University. He extended his gratitude to the organizing committee and the researchers for their dedication before declaring the conference officially open.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>Commitment to Community and Industry Linkage<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"> <\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Representing the Vice President for Research and Technology Transfer, <strong>Dr. Melkamu Bezabih<\/strong> highlighted the university&#8217;s active role in community service.
