College of Natural and Computational Science

Debre Markos University is one of the Universities established in 1999 E.C by federal government of Ethiopia. It started its work in this same year with one college namely college of education which later becomes re-organized in two colleges: College of Social Sciences and College of Natural and Computational Sciences.
Vested in its rights and duties, according to the higher education proclamation (652/2009), Debremarkos University in general and the college of natural and computational sciences in particular have performed outstanding activities in teaching, research and community services even though a lot more remains in the modernization of each activity and duty.
