Executive for Female and Social Affairs Inclusive Implementation Directorate
Gender office is established in 2006 with the aim of minimizing gender gap in the
University. Similarly “HIV/AIDS prevention and control unit was established to prevent and control the spread of HIV within and outside the university. By now (2025) based on JEG the university changed its structure and combines those cross cutting issues and assigned a directorate named as “Executive for Female and Social Affairs Inclusive implementation Directorate”. Later the office has 1 Director, 3 Female and Social Affairs Inclusive Officers, 1 Secretary, 5 baby care, 3 cleaners and 2 nurse for children.
Female and Social Affairs Inclusive Implementation Directorate is responsible in the following main activities:-
- Providing Different trainings, Awareness creation, Panel discussions for Female instructors, Female and Male Students, High Schools and Preparatory school students.
- Providing different financial and material support by DMU, NGOs and GOs budget for economic needy Female and male, Disable and HIV Victim Students.
- Facilitate different activates for Female, Disable, HIV Victim; Students by department placement and also for disable students school placement, dormitory placement, and facilitate ramp and detach for different buildings and roads.
- Providing different mechanizes for female students to prevent from sexual harassment and psychological problems.
- Providing forums for female Instructors, students and administrative staffs.
- Providing Female, Disable, HIV clubs, for perform different activities.
- Providing different activates for female instructors to cover position.
- By facilitate different events for model female instructors to sheer their experience for female students.
- By facilitate different events prove different materials for high scorer female students
- Providing income generated mechanisms by preparing Projects, Business plan and others.
- Facilitate different supports for female and disable student’s resource center.
- Providing different activates to collate condom and written materials from different GOs and NGOs and distribute at different place.
- Providing early child care service to support families and to give good child care for children.
- Preparing different evidences by photos and signature.
