Advanced Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies
Debre Markos University, as part of its mission, is responsible not only to assist its academic staff to conduct problem solving research but also to disseminate research findings timely and appropriately. To this end, it has been publishing the research findings on annual symposium proceedings. However, the demand from the academic staff to have a scientific journal to publish their works initiates the launching of Debre Markos University Advanced Journal of Interdisciplinary Studies, here after referred to as AJIDS, the first journal in the history of the University.
Choke Journal of Education and Behavioral Studies
Chokie Journal of Education and Behavioral Studies [CJEBS] is a biannual peer-reviewed journal (both in print and online) focused on integrating knowledge in Education and Behavioral Sciences through the publication of original empirical and review articles. It covers diverse areas including Education, Psychology, Special Needs & Inclusive Education, and Early Childhood Education, welcoming contributions from scholars and practitioners. All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind review by at least two experts in their respective fields. CJEBS, published by the Institute of Education and Behavioral Sciences at Debre Markos University, serves as a platform for researchers, academicians, professionals, and graduate students to share quality theoretical and empirical research papers, case studies, literature reviews, and policy analyses. The journal aims to bridge the diverse intellectual and methodological aspects of educational and behavioral sciences scholarship and stimulate dialogue between scholars and policymakers. Manuscripts will be evaluated based on their importance, originality, relevance to the journal’s scope, and clarity. We invite submissions that enhance knowledge and foster intellectual exchange, adhering to our guidelines, which are available on our website.
Choke Journal of Law
Chokie Journal of Law (CJOL) is established in 2023 under the stewardship of its Law School. It is a peer-reviewed journal published biannually (on December and July). The purpose of the journal is to publish the results of original scientific researches on a wide range of issues of law, the history of legislation and state institutions, philosophy and sociology of law. It supports the university wide and national level effort of ensuring academic excellence through the publication of quality and original articles/works. The journal will be available both online and in print.
