DMU: Debre Markos University Gender Affairs and HIV/AIDS prevention directorate has got 200 books from various non-governmental organizations /NGOs/.
The director of Debre Markos University Gender Affairs and HIV/AIDS prevention directorate Mrs. Yewulsew Melak states that Debre Markos University usually enquires different institutions so as to create hospitable and fertile environment for students in general and disabled students in particular. Fulfilling ample inputs from governmental and nongovernmental organizations is an instance that the university goes further discoursing projects. In doing so, the university has got 200 different new edition books in different disciplines from “code Ethiopia”:(None governmental organizations /NGOs/) institution through donations.
During the tender programme, Dr. Belete Yaecob, Debre Markos University Academic Executive Director on his turn explains as Debre Markos University is a recently opened university. There are inadequate infrastructures and inputs employed for disabled students. Thus, Debre Markos University Gender affairs and HIV/AIDS directorate has been offered philanthropic support from different institutions through negotiating and addressing restless endeavors especially books.
The Acting director of Debre Markos University Library and documentation service directorate Mr. Azimeraw Andualem, on his turn strongly acknowledged the donation that they received. Also, the books would have sound importance from improving the teaching- learning process and therefore the books could certainly be shelved and accessible to the students.
Eventually, Mrs. Yewulsew Melak remarked as the books have been outsourced through strong diplomatic efforts though the books are more of social streams; it minimizes the problems faced slightly.
