Experience Sharing is decisive for better Institutional performance

DMU: The Amhara National Regional state public universities forum administration and students affairs council hold multi-lateral discussion in Debre Markos University on November 11-12/2017.

The Deputy Head of the Amhara National Regional State Bureau of Education and the regional public universities consultant Mr. Yitbarek Demilew acknowledged that sharing experience and adhering best practices of each universities are very decisive and paramount significant to have what others performance looks like. Universities have to be the source of wisdom based community mobilization and technology transfer. Thus, students, teachers, other workers and the communities at large would be able to discharge their academic and social responsibilities to ensure security of the universities and the community.

On this regard, the population in the region where the universities are located would benefit knowledge, improve their welfare lifelong and support others in planning and carrying out different activities to create peaceful teaching and learning environment of the utmost objectives. Thus, it was noted that practitioners should cooperate together to perform incredible deeds. For that matter, all universities should share constructive experiences so as to provide solutions for the problems they face.

The Amhara National Regional state government universities forum administration and students affairs council coordinator Dr. BirhanuAsaye states that the forum aims at evaluating the first quarter report of the universities activities that each university implement and to share best practices observed. Strengthening and leading students’ arrangement, modernizing university’s financial utilization, loudening best practices, offering sustainable service for students, providing full pledged water and electricity services as well as offer urgent responses should have been anticipated.
