Training held for Female Researchers

Debre Markos University research and technology transfer directorate trains female researchers to build their ability on effective way of conducting research. The training contents on proposal writing, research findings and interpretations.

The Vice president for Research and Community Service Assistant Professor Genet Degu in her welcoming speech states that the objective of the training is increasing the number of female researchers and maximizing their ability of doing research as well as filling the gaps of conducting thematic researches underneath.

The trainer is Dr. Abebe Kirub, a senior researcher in Ethiopian agricultural research center. Dr Abebe states that conducting research proposals profoundly should be taken as part and parcel of individuals’ life in academic world in order to seek solutions of every problem. He also tells that the essence of proposal writing, ways of research finding analysis, interpretation and communication was the contents of the training they have to develop in their professional endeavor. Rationally, elevating grace of experts, solving communities’ problems and/or designing fund raising projects are the concern of conducting academic research. Cognizant this, the research results are to be disseminate for scientific, technology leading, merchandise and political incentives /inputs through  employing special techniques in response of questions like what, way, when, where and how questions to address substantial results beneath it.

Points regarding on setting statement of the problem as it emanated from the interest of the researcher, significance of the research, effectiveness and other sub research genres are enumerated during the training.
