Dmu: Debre Markos University gets donation medical equipment estimated to cost 28 thousand and four hundred dollars from Jhpigo. The Equipment helps to provide practical trainings to health science college students.

Debre Markos University Academic Affairs Vice PresidentMrTadesseTenaw says that the university has been working aggressively to fulfill laboratory facilities to implement practice oriented education for students of Nutrition department. Mr. Tadesse attributes the donation of Jhpigo for its donation as far as helps to foster the teaching learning process. The university is working to organize all laboratories as per the prioritization matrix, Mr. Tadesse added.

MrGirmawAlem, Debre Markos University Health Science vice dean, on his part says that Jhpigo’s donation helps health science college instructors to conduct international scientific researches and projects with agriculture and natural resource college instructors. Lately, Girmaw passes his gratefulness and thanks to Jhpigo.

Jhpigo Ethiopia Grow Through Nutrition Pre-service Component Education and Training Advisor Mr kefyalew Muleta on his turn states that Jhpigo is working with eight Ethiopian universities in furnishing and  organizing laboratories to address quality education, curriculum design and development, Instructors and laboratory technicians capacity building.

It is noted that Agriculture and Natural Resource Management College and Health Science College instructors will work together in conducting researches and curriculum development across disciplines thatenables to share experiences and innovations.
