
DMU: Debre Markos University in collaboration with Merry stops International Ethiopia hosts awareness creation program in Burie campus for junior university students.
The vice dean for research and community service of Burie Campus Mr. AyalewFekade, at his opening Speech states that students must take care for themselves in doing undesirable activities as they are coming to university dreaming better and fruitful life on their stay. In doing so, they should be disciplined and visionary so as to be credited society for their country in general and themselves in particular.
Mr. Miskir Gebeyehu, Ethiopia Merry stops international youth and reproduction coordinator on his hand explains that Merry Stop International Ethiopia is well known institution in providing reproductive health care for 24 hours. Furthermore, Merry Stops International Ethiopia is strongly working on combating the most spreader reproductive health Sexually transmitted disease such as HIV by creating awareness especially on youngsters. Therefore, students should keep themselves from this fiercely ramparted disease as prevention is better than cure.
Mrs. Enanu Tesfaw, Debre Markos University Burie campus from management Department on her turn speaks that first year students, as they come from their family university, many things might see and done than ever before .Consequently, they are primarily coming for schooling so that they have to run purposely.
Additionally, Mrs. Enanu messages disable students should be treated especially to let them cope up with others by contributing affirmative actions.
Finally, Debre Markos University Gender, HIV/AIDS and Disability directorate director Mrs. Selam Mekibib, and Mr Molla Alemineh, Burie campus Gender and disability officer provide recognition and award for best performer female students in the academic year.
