DMU: Debre Markos University in collaboration with Wollo University hosts a workshop to honor Patriot Dejazmach Belay Zeleke through research conference and historical site tour.

On the opening of the workshop the vice president for Research and Community Service of Debre Markos University Assistant Professor Genet Degu says that the objective of the workshop is to have clear understanding and put directions for the procedure of International conference and Historical Travel to honor the deeds of Patriot Dejazmach Belay Zeleke.

Debre Markos University History and Heritage Administration department Assistant professor Derb Tedla (PhD) presents the draft of the conference programme. According to the presentation, the objective is to strengthen the sense of patriotism through creating unity and harmony among Ethiopians that decreased in between generations.

The Forum of Universities in Amhara Region members, concerned bodies and invited historians are participants of the workshop.
