Debre Markos University (DMU) has achieved a significant academic breakthrough as its journal, the Chokie Journal of Education and Behavioral Studies (CJEBS), officially earned national research journal accreditation.
The announcement follows the conclusion of the 8th round of the national research journals’ evaluation and accreditation process, jointly conducted by the Ministry of Education in partnership with the Ethiopian Research Editors’ Association.
The official accreditation issued on 15/11/2018 EC. formally validates CJEBS as a recognized national platform for academic research and publication. The accreditation status comes with a three-year validity period, effective immediately from the official date of issuance.
The recognition highlights the university’s commitment to advancing scholarly research, fostering academic rigor, and contributing to high-quality behavioral and educational studies in Ethiopia.
