የተከታታይና ረቀት ትምህርት ማስተባበሪያ ዳይሬክቶሬት  

ራዕይ

• ደብረ ማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በ2025 (እንደ ጎረጎሮሳዊያን ዘመን አቆጣጠር) ከአፍሪካ የመጀመሪያዎቹ 10 ምርጥ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች አንዱ ሆኖ የመገኘት ራዕይ ሰንቆ ተግባራትን እየከናወነ ይገኛል፣

የተከታታይና ርቀት ትምህርት ማስተባበሪያ ዳይሬክቶሬት ራዕይ ከዩኒቨርሲቲው በቀጥታ የተወሰደ ሲሆን የሚከተሉት ተልዕኮዎች አሉት፡፡

ተልዕኮ

• የመርሃ ግብሮቹ ተማሪዎች ተፎካካሪ ባለሙያዎች እንዲሆኑ በማድረግ ለሀገሪቱ የልማት እንቅስቃሴ የበኩላቸውን አስተዋጽኦ እንዲያበረክቱ ዕድል መፍጠር፣
• በዩኒቨርሲቲው የተማሪ ቅበላ አቅም መሰረት ለዩኒቨርሲቲውና ለአካባቢው ማህበረሰብ የነፃትምህርት ዕድል በመስጠት አቅማቸውን መገንባት፣
• የዩኒቨርሲቲውን የውስጥ ገቢ ማሳደግ፡፡

የዳይሬክቶሬቱ መልእክት

አገራችን ኢትዮጵያ እኤአ በ2025 መካከለኛ ገቢ ካላቸው አገሮች ምድብ ለመመደብ በሁለተኛው የአምስት ዓመት ትራንስፎርሜሽን እቅድ የተለያዩ ሜጋ ፕሮጀክቶችን በመቅረጽ በሕዳሴ ልማት ጎዳና በመጓዝ ላይ ትገኛለች፡፡ ለሕዳሴው ልማት ስኬታማነት በሁሉም የሙያ ዘርፎች የተማረ የሰው ኃይል አቅርቦት ከፍተኛ ድርሻ ያለው በመሆኑ በአገር አቀፍ ደረጃ በሁሉም ከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት ከመደበኛ መርሃ-ግብር በተጨማሪ በተለያዩ መርሃ- ግብሮች ተማሪዎችን ተቀብሎ በማሰልጠን ተልዕኳቸውን እየተወጡ ይገኛሉ፡፡

ደብረማርቆስ ዩኒቨርሲቲም የትምህርት ተደራሽነትን ለማረጋገጥና የመማር ማስተማር ግብን ከዳር ለማድረስ ከመደበኛ መርሃግብር በተጫማሪ በዋናው ግቢ፣ በቡሬ ካምፓስና በብቸና ከተማ በበላይ ዘለቀ የከፍተኛ ትምህርት መሰናዶ ትምህርት ቤት የማስተባበሪያ ቅርንጫፍ በመክፈት በኤክስቴንሽን በርቀትና በክረምት መርሃ-ግብሮች ተማሪዎችን ተቀብሎ በማሰልጠን አገራችን ለጀመረችው የእድገትና ትራንስፎርሜሽን እቅድ መሳካት የሚያስፈልገውን የተማረ የሰው ኃይል በጥራትና በዓይነት በማፍራት ጉልህ ሚና እያበረከተ ይገኛል፡፡ ይህን መርሃ-ግብር በ2012 ዓ.ም የትምህርት ዘመንም ተጠናክሮ ይቀጥላል፡፡ በመሆኑም የተከታታይና ርቀት ትምህርት ማስተባበሪያ ዳይሬክቶሬት በየዓመቱ የተለያዩ ግቦችን ያማከለ ዕቅድ በማውጣት የትግበራ እንቅስቃሴ እያደረገ ይገኛል፡፡ የተከናወኑ ተግባራትን የአፈፃፀም ደረጃም ለማወቅ በየሩብ ዓመቱ ሪፖርት እያዘጋጀ ለሚመለከተው አካል በማቅረብ ለወቅታዊ ክትትልና ግምገማ ምቹ ሁኔታ እንዲፈጠርና በአፈፃፀም ሒደቶች ላጋጠሙ ችግሮችና ማነቆዎች የመፍትሔ አቅጣጫ በመጠቆምና የመፍትሔ አካል በመሆን ለታቀደው እቅድ ስኬታማነት ከፍተኛ እንቅስቃሴ ሲያደርግ ቆይቷል፡፡ ስለሆነም የተከታታይና ርቀት ትምህርት ማስተባበሪያ ዳይሬክቶሬት የአገልግሎት አድማሱን የበለጠ ተደራሽ ለማድረግና ቀጣይ የትራንስፎርሜሽን ዕቅዶችን ከግብ ለማድረስ በ2012 የበጀት ዓመት በክፍሉ የሚፈፀሙ ተግባራትን በመለየት ልዩልዩግቦችን፣ የማስፈፀሚያና የመለኪያ ዘዴዎችን የያዘ የ2012 በጀት ዓመት የእቅድ ሰነድ አዘጋጅቷል፡፡

በአጠቃላይ የትምህርት ጥራት ና አግባብነት፣ የመምህራንንና የተማሪዎችን ጥቅም ለማሳደግ፣ ምቹ የስራ አካባቢ እዲፈጠር እንዲሁም በዩኒቨርሲቲው የሚሰጡ የትምህርት መስኮችን ቁጥርና ተደራሽነት ለማስፋፋት፣ ፍትሃዊነት እና ጥራት መሻሻል የጀመረውን እንቅስቃሴ አጠናክሮ ለማስቀጠል የሚያስችል ዝግጅት በማጠናቀቅ የበጀት አመቱን የጀመርን ሲሆን ሁሉም የሚመለከታቸው ባለድርሻ አካላትን የትምህርት ጥራት፣ አግባብነትና ተደራሽነትን ለማስጠበቅ አብረን እንድንሰራ ጥሪያችንን እናስተላልፋለን፡፡

Message of the Directorate

Ethiopia is on the path to Renaissance Development by designing various mega projects in the second five-year Transformation Plan to qualify for the category of middle-income countries by 2025. With the availability of a well-educated workforce in all professions for the Renaissance development, they are fulfilling their mission by welcoming students through various programs. in addition to the regular program at all higher education institutions nationwide Debre Markos University has also opened a branch of the Extension on the main campus, Burie campus and coordination office at Belay Zeleke Preparatory School at the town of Bichena, and has been training students in extension, distance and summer programs to support the growth and transformation of our nation. It is playing a significant role in the genre. This program will be further strengthened during the 2019/20 academic year. Hence, the Directorate of continuous and distance Education coordination has been implementing action plans each year with different goals. It has also been working hard on the success of the proposed plan as part of the solution and in addressing the problems and constraints in the implementation process and presenting a report to the concerned body to determine the level of performance of the activities. Accordingly, the Directorate of continuous and distance Education coordination has developed a 2019/2020 Budget Plan document that sets out the specifics, implementations and measures to identify service activities in the fiscal year  to make the service more accessible and to achieve future transformation plans.

We began the fiscal year by completing preparations to enhance the quality of education, relevance and access to all stakeholders, to enhance the quality and ensure the benefit of teachers and students, to create a safe working environment and to increase the number and access of educational facilities provided by the University. Finally, we extend our call to our partners and stakeholders to work together.

Welcome to the Continuing and Distance Education Coordinating Directorate of Debre Markos University. The Directorate is running a range of first degree programs in collaboration with hosting colleges and departments of the University on week-end and summer modalities. Other initiatives are also underway to help the university meet the changing needs of potential customers and stakeholders. The academic programs are found to be important in today’s society. The curricula are designed to move students to the next level and prepare them for skilled work in their field of study. Moreover, the academic units of the University are staffed with experienced professionals who are here to bring their years of professional and educational experience into the classroom to create the best learning environment and supply you with the tools you need to succeed in your future endeavor.
