Debre Markos University Forum for women leaders assigns new leaderships

DMU: The establishment of Debre Markos University Forum for Women Leaders Forum enables women’s leaders of the university to work together collaboratively in order to make them more productive. The directorate for gender, HIV/AIDS and disabilities strives to create   conducive environment that consolidates and supports women’s leadership for the benefit of the community.

Participants of the forum state that women shall share experiences of other universities women’s participation in the leadership positions to develop their leadership capacity and discharge the challenges they face. In order to make Women’s more successful in leadership positions, collaboration among them is crucial to use their abilities and experiences for higher responsibilities by up grading their education.

Finally the forum assigns Mrs, Esrael Alamrew, Mrs. Melkam Amsalu, and Mrs. Yeshiwork Andargie, for the leadership positions. The newly assigned leaders express their commitment to deliver fast and effective services to empower women leaders.
